The rampant lion is used in the Scotland Royal Arms. One belief is that King Richard I of England "the Lion-Heart" was who first introduces a heraldic device showing a rampant lion, the king of beasts rearing up with its clawed paws out-stretched as if in battle.
Craig Moodie Designs also adopted a rampant lion in it's logo!
This piece is handmade to order, each one is totally unique. Item may differ slightly from photos.
