Peoples Flag Of Milwaukee

The People's Flag of Milwaukee was designed in 2016 in response to grassroots interest to redesign the flag of Milwaukee. This design, called "Sunrise Over the Lake," is described as the rising sun over Lake Michigan represents a new day, the light blue bars below the rising sun symbolize the city's three rivers and three founding times, the color gold represents the city's brewing history, and the color white represents unity. Although the city has not yet adopted this design as it's official flag, it is still an essential piece of art for all those who have lived in Milwaukee!
