Hawaii is the only U.S. state flag to feature the flag of a foreign country (the Union flag of the U.K.), a remnant of the British Empire's influence on Hawaiian history. In my version, there are 3 layers of reclaimed wood to show off the details of the mini Union Jack. It really is a great flag full of history.
