This Washington DC Flag was a custom order for a D.C. lawyer's office and he loved it. So I decided to list it online. I really like how the 3D stars bring it together. The flag is based on the design of George Washington's coat of arms, first used in the twelfth century. For over a century, the District of Columbia was without an official flag. In 1938, Congress established a commission to choose an official, original flag design. The commission held a public competition, and picked the submission of graphic designer Charles A. R. Dunn! I actually do this in the shape of Washington DC as well so check out that posting!
